The Provincial of Sacred Heart of Jesus Province, Rev. Fr. James Cruze, CSC came to Moreau Seminary on 7th October, 2020 for the canonical visit. He spent three days with seminarians and priests. He arrived at Moreau Seminary on 7th October at 5:00 pm. He was warmly welcomed and greeted with a bouquet of flowers and traditional Uraon dance from the main gate. He said Mass at 6:30 pm. He was welcomed again in the cultural program according to Garo and Tripura tradition with Kutup, Uttorio and Putir Mala. Seminarians and priests started their sharing on 8th – 9th October, 2020. Finally, he shared his thoughts and gave some feedback to the directors and seminarians. The Canonical visit of the Provincial was fruitful and meaningful for us all.
A farewell for the novice candidates was held on 14 October, 2020 in Moreau Seminary. Special prayers and a cultural program were arranged on that day. Fr. Gourob G. Pathang, CSC said the Mass. The names of the novice candidates are: David Tripura and Eugene Tripura from Thanchi, Pias Karmakar from Gournodi, Sajib Daring and Tonmoy Toju from Shreemongal, Sourov Chisik from Jalchatra, Uchash Rozario from Toomilia.
