On 15 September 2024, His Grace Archbishop Lawrence S. Howlader, CSC, inaugurated a new Church and Priests’ Rectory at Ruma under Bolipara Parish. The Church is dedicated to St. Anthony This Church belongs to the Chattogram Catholic Archdiocese.
Archbishop Lawrence was the main celebrant on this auspicious celebration. Fr. George Kamal Rozario, CSC, the Provincial of Sacred Heart of Jesus Province, Bangladesh, concelebrated with him along with other priests. A good number of parishioners participated in this celebration.
