The Assembly of Holy Cross Father, Bangladesh was held on October 04, 2021 at Holy Cross Pastoral and Retreat Center, Bhadun. The one third members of Sacred Heart of Jesus Province participated in this program. The program started at 3p.m in the small session room of the center.
The program was moderated by Rev. Apu S. Rozario, CSC. In the very beginning of the assembly, the Provincial of SHJP, Rev. George K. Rozario, CSC, welcomed everyone and greeted all on behalf of the Province. After his speech, the presentations on the selected themes were delivered by three confreres on different tropics.
Rev. Adam S. Pereira, CSC, one of the most senior priests of the Province, delivered his presentation on the Spirituality of Blessed Basil Moreau, the founder of the Congregation. He showed different indications of his spirituality. He emphasized on the Trinitarian aspects of Holy Cross Family and the Cross of Jesus, where his spirituality was rooted deeply.
In the second session, Rev. Boniface S. Tolentino, CSC, one of the most senior priests of the Province, highlighted his experience and thought to the confreres. He delivered his presentation on the theme of Community life. In his presentation, he shared his vivid experiences of the community life from different angles. He focused on the importance of it and what we should do or not, for the fruitful and healthy community.
Rev. James S. Gomes, CSC, also presented on the theme of religious vows depending on the Constitution of the Congregation of Holy Cross.
Finally, the half day assembly was concluded with the Holy Eucharist at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel of Blessed Basil Moreau at the Center followed by happy hour and dinner.
