The Inauguration program of the Chapel was taken place on 05 March 2023 with the presence of His Excellency Sebastian Tudu, D.D., Fr. George Kamal Rozario, CSC, Provincial, Fr. Sudhir J. Das, CSC, Parish Priest, other Priests, Sisters, villagers and faithful from different villages. Prior to the blessing and inauguration of the Chapel, there was a grand reception for the Bishop, Fathers, and other guests before the Holy Eucharist commenced according to the local Santali Tribal tradition. Here mentionable that the Chapel is dedicated to St. Andre Bessette.
Before the Holy Eucharist Most Rev. Sebastian Tudu, D.D. Local Ordinary of Dinajpur Catholic Diocese, the Provincial, along with the other participants blessed and opened the main door that is built by the financial support of the AJP Fund, Holy Cross Mission Center, IN, and the contribution of the villagers and the parish. Later Bishop offered the Holy Eucharist along with other priests among the faithful.
After the Mass, the villagers with the help of the parish offered meals for all the participants. It was a good opportunity to be united with Christians and catechumens on the blessing and inauguration of the Chapel.
