Welcoming and Thanksgiving Parish Priests: On January 29, 2023, it was a great day for the parish of Padrishibpur as Fr. Robert Dilip Gomes, CSC, has been appointed as the parish priest as well as gratitude and thanksgiving to Fr. Vincent Bimol Rozario, CSC for his service two years in Padrishibpur parish as a parish priest. In this celebration, five Priests, seven Sisters, and 400 parishioners were present. After the Eucharistic celebration, there was a short reception and thanksgiving cultural program.
The Pilgrimage of St. Anthony at Rajabaria Sub-centre: The Pilgrimage of St. Anthony was held on 9-10 March 2023, at Rajabaria sub-centre of Our Lady of Guidance Church, Padrishibpur parish, after preceding nine days of Novena and spiritual exercise. This is the only Pilgrimage of St. Anthony in Barishal Catholic Diocese. Most Rev. Emmanuel Kanon Rozario, Bishop of Barishal Diocese, was the main celebrant of the Holy Eucharist on that occasion day. There was one bishop, 18 priests, brother-sister of this region and more than 1500 people were gathered. After the mass they shared a common meal altogether. All the celebrations were successful and fruitful.
The Feast of St. Joseph was held on 20 March 2023, at Our Lady of Guidance Church, Padrishibpur parish, after preceding nine days of Novena and spiritual exercise, the feast of St. Joseph Mass took place in front of St. Joseph shrine, at Holy Rosary Seminary, Padrishibpur. Fr. Robert Dilip Gomes, CSC Pastor of Our Lady of Guidance Church, Padrishibpur, was the main celebrant of the Holy Eucharist on that day. More than 300 people were gathered.
